Surrender Car to Satisfy Lien

by Zachary
(Gainesville, Florida)

Can I surrender my car to the person who privately loaned me the money to buy it? Will this satisfy the promissory note of the loan?

Does the promissory loan note need to have been notarized and or witnessed for it to be legally binding?

The party who loaned me the money had the note notarized after I left their office and my copy isn't notarized.
